On May 26th, the PV PTO is hosting a free, virtual Night Sky event featuring Central Connecticut State University's Planetarium Director, Carol Ivers. Carol's presentation will cover everything in the sky: the stars, moon, planets and sun. We hope many PV families can attend!

We know that demand was high for the space-themed activity kits. If you were unable to get a kit, we've posted many of the materials below (with the exception of the small bookmark).

• A constellation card and instructions. You will need 3-4 pipe cleaners as well as beads or Cheerios to use as the stars.

• A moon phase activity sheet. You will need 6-8 Oreos and a popsicle stick for this activity.

• A moon phase tracker.
